There isn’t a negative review among the Helium articles sharing their thoughts on the television series known as House. The funny thing is that each author has a completely different slant on their reason for liking the show so much. One person compares the show to M.A.S.H., which I have to admit has merit now that I think about it. Another author speaks about series and cartoon plots, while others compare Dr. Gregory House to the great mystery solver, Sherlock Holmes.
If you haven’t seen the show, it’s worth tuning in, and I say that from experience. If you have seen the show and liked it, you may want to add your voice to the articles singing its praises. If your opinion of the show is not being represented, it’s time to write your own review and tell people why you didn’t like House when you watched it.
Personally, it’s hard for me to over think a show like House. I watch the show for entertainment only, and appreciate the fact that I can watch it to wind down and have a few laughs at the end of a long day. It’s a lighthearted show that teaches some good lessons in unexpected ways. Perhaps that’s why House is so endearing to its viewers. You get to enjoy the show, face a few of your demons, and laugh and cry with the best of them.

What is it about House that works so well? After all, the character is essentially a jerk. The show is well written, and sometimes engrossing, though it certainly follows a formula each week. As you said, it's entertaining -- without being stupid. Maybe that's enough, huh?
But aren't we all jerks at times, Jim. Maybe it's because we can relate to Dr. House. He has a heart. He just loses patience with stupidity from time to time. Wouldn't you love to get away with being so blunt sometimes?
I am a total House addict! I wish more doctors were like him. instead of more money more money!
